The Gene Autry Hotel . . .
This has
been an exciting start for 1992 for all our festivities at The Autry.
Your contribution to the decorations for these occasions was
outstanding. Our New Year’s
Eve Gala, Valentine’s Sweetheart Ball and our US Navy Memorial
Foundation dinner, honoring President Gerald Ford, truly stand out as
hugely successful events.
Needless
to say, I am appreciative of all your assistance with our “Winter
Wonderland” Christmas decorations for the past two years.
Your suggestions have been thoughtful and helpful.
Your professionalism and timely, “can-do” approach to the
demands of these tasking requirements are the hallmark of your
performance. I greatly appreciate and admire your talents. . .

Director |
The Palm Springs International Film
Festival . . .
Thanks for the beautiful,
outstanding job you did in turning the Wyndham Ballroom into a spectacular
setting in honor of Sophia Loren.
The room looked absolutely gorgeous, and the check-in entrance was the
best we’ve had yet.
You’re the best, Todd—and
please know how much your time and effort was appreciated by all.
Lois Schlecht, Gala Chair
January 1994
On behalf of the Film Festival
Founder Sonny Bono and our distinguished board of Trustees, I thank you
for supporting them and the Film Festival . . . it is due to people such
as yourself and businesses such as Gilding the Lily that the festival is a
huge artistic and cultural success.

from Mary-Go-Round Catering . . .
“Thanks for making us look great” or “it’s a pleasure to work
with you” are standard phrases in acknowledgements, but I don’t think
that they would be appropriate in your case.
Yes, you did a fantastic job.
And yes, you made us look great.
But is it a pleasure to work with you?
Yes. Your humor
and personality made the long days shorter and a hard job easier. .
. let me say that the visuals you produced exceeded our expectations.
We were delighted by everything you did: the entry, the flowers,
and those fantastic trees. I
agree that nobody could have done a better job.

from College of the Desert . . .
The décor
at our Foundation Auxiliary party was really beautiful, from the crossed
flags on the backs of the chairs to the blue star-studded tablecloths.
The all-white bouquets, with red balloons, were elegant indeed.
You did a truly fantastic job!
We
particularly appreciate your suggestion that the hotel open that extra
room for our use. What would we have done without it? And you even helped set up the memorabilia from the Patton
Museum.
Your
attitude and your cooperation were exemplary.
Thanks, Todd, for helping to make the party such a huge success.

from the Desert Symphony . . .
Thank you so much for your kind contribution to the
Desert Symphony’s 1994 Amadeus Awards.
I cannot begin to tell you how many people expressed their
wonderment at the arrangements you put together for this event.
They were just perfect! The
evening was all around a great success, but it would that you contributed to the overall look.
Thanks for your creative support.

Now that
our fabulous PSDM Gala 97 is history, I would like to thank you for all of
the assistance, time and patience that you extended to me and my committee
in putting this event together and making sure that the Gala was one of
the most exciting events of the season . . . our deepest appreciation.

from
the Springs Club in Rancho Mirage . . .
Thank you for doing a fine job decorating the
Club for the holidays. When
we first spoke about the decorations, I was concerned that we create a
positive impression . . . You succeeded in expressing that feeling.
I’ve heard many, many favorable remarks about how nice the Club
looks.
