This decorated wedding cake was featured in Palm Springs Life
Magazine. It illustrates
the elegance and attention to detail that defines Gilding the Lily
designs. Here we combined gilded leaves and pods, tiny, tiny white buds
and translucent silk and organza ribbons for a truly lavish feel.

This extravaganza was the wedding of the season, if not
of the decade. Its theme
drew from the grace of the Victorian era to produce a lavish, romantic
setting. Here the nuptial
couple and bridal attendants gathered at one focal point: the stage. A dynamic design, the stage featured formal columns and
balustrades, grapevine and ivy-laced arched latticework, huge orchid and
pearl draped chandeliers and urns brimming with florals and greens. |

San
Diego was the site for this stylish affair.
The bride’s desire was to create an English garden setting,
with a slightly wild and very rich feel.
Pictured is the bride and groom’s table, raised up and set for
four to include best man and maid-of-honor.
This richly decorated area included another platform raised
higher still to show off the lavishly decorated wedding cake. |
